Black Maternal Health Awareness

President Biden officially proclaimed April 11th through April 17, 2023, as Black Maternal Health Week to raise awareness of the state of Black maternal health in the United States.
This week is a time to raise awareness about the inequities of maternal healthcare experienced by Black women and birthing people.
As #BMHW ends and Maternal Mental Health Month begins in May, take the time to learn more about the dynamic people and organizations working to improve maternal health outcomes among Black women and birthing people and learn about how you can support their work and even support Black birthing people in your life.
