DESCRIPTION:Organizing for Opportunity (OFO) is the Partnership for Southern Equity’s community organizing training for its growing list of partners\, staff\, organizers\, and members of the community who desire to learn successful organizing strategies. OFO Mini-Session 1: Concepts\, Terms and Framing is on Wednesday\, June 24. OFO Mini-Session 2: Implementation and Leadership Development. Both sessions are from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There’s more value in attending the sessions together. We will also hold an OFO Office Hour on Tuesday\, June 30 at 10 a.m. for grassroots organizations and organizers already in the field. \nThe COVID-19 pandemic has pivoted the way we organize. Welcome to the world of digital organizing! No matter where you are or experience level\, Beth Becker with Becker Digital Strategies will guide you through the strategies and tools to move communities to action albeit virtually. \nThese trainings are free and we will graciously accept donations to help support this work.
