New faces at PSE!

The Partnership for Southern Equity is proud to welcome another group of talented individuals to our team who will support our work to advance racial equity and shared prosperity for all.

Denise Zeigler

Director, Compliance & Grant Management

Denise Zeigler, joins us with over a decade of experience managing grants and overseeing the day-to-day activities of programs. Before joining Team PSE, Denise successfully managed the American Rescue Plan Act Grant funding (ARPA) that was used to fund a $7 million project that included a partnership between Living Faith Tabernacle, Inc., the Housing Authority of Clayton, and One Street Residential for Phase One Senior Housing 62+. Denise has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Florida A&M University, a certificate as a Certified Public Manager from Rutgers State University, and a Master’s Degree in Law with a focus on Health Law from Seton Hall Law School.

Gloria Arnold

Project Manager

Born in South Carolina, but an Atlanta resident for almost 40 years, Gloria has over 20 years in Property Management and considers herself a behind-the-scenes supporter of operating standards who brings things together. Since 2021, Gloria has served as the Property Manager of PSE’s Peters Street locations. She is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the sites and tenant relations. Her experience consists of compliance and financial reporting to government entities such as HUD, DCA and loan services, on-site management and administration.

Aaliyah Baines

Finance, Financial Analyst

Aaliyah is a skilled financial analyst with experience in data-informed decision-making. She is currently a Master of Business Administration candidate focusing on Finance and Strategy at J. Mack Robinson Business School. When asked about her work, Aaliyah says, “I have always felt that working to evaluate efficiencies of controls, improve them continuously, and maximize profit was my calling.”

Shakira Daniel

Finance, Jr. Financial Analyst

Shakira joins PSE with a diverse background in finance, film production, and
real estate. She has a BBA in Business Economics from Georgia State University and a Real Estate license in the state of Georgia. Shakira has a keen eye for detail and uses her analytical skills to produce accurate and insightful financial reports. She is passionate about making strategic financial
decisions that help businesses succeed.
