The Atlanta Urbanite Mobility Challenge, hosted by the Ford Foundation and anchored locally by Partnership for Southern Equity, aims to revolutionize mobility access for Atlanta residents. The Atlanta Challenge is designed to activate local leaders, residents, and local and national mobility entrepreneurs to address income inequality and its impact on safety and access. Based on input from Atlanta residents, several opportunity areas were identified for the Challenge, including accessing critical neighborhood resources, safety and comfort when walking or waiting for transit, increasing job access, and connecting to new developments.

We are excited to announce the three awardees of the Ford Urbanite Atlanta Challenge: HERide, Leila’s Enterprise, and Peoplestown Revitalization Corporation. Each awardee will be receiving $50,000 to pilot community-centered mobility solutions in Atlanta in 2025.
