Kicking Off Equity Sustainers Week

We are grateful for each day we get to advance racial equity and shared prosperity. We have you to thank for our progress. Your contributions, thoughts, prayers, ideas, and presence have sustained us over the past 10 years. We are now looking towards the coming 10, 15, and 20 years to come, and we need your help.

Starting today, September 21 through Friday, September 25, we’re hosting our first Equity Sustainers Week to provide an opportunity for you to connect and to contribute to the ongoing work of the Partnership for Southern Equity and racial equity.

To kick things off, we’re inviting you to “The Movement Continues”, a special conversation between Nathaniel Smith, Founder and Chief Equity Officer, and Dwayne Patterson, Vice President of Strategy and Engagement, and Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation’s new Chief Equity Impact Officer, about the past, present, and future of the Partnership for Southern Equity, on Monday, September 21, 10 a.m., live on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram! Click here to mark your calendar!

We’re asking our dearest supporters and friends to find room to contribute $10, $15, $20, or more per month to help us get started. We’re looking to fund various operations and initiatives including our leadership development work, which has shifted dramatically because of COVID-19 but still have goal-breaking application numbers and full cohorts.

We’re thinking of a variety of ways to say thank you for becoming an Equity Sustainer including:

  • admission to an annual “State of Equity” Breakfast (when it’s safe to do so) or online meeting to those who give $20 a month or more
  • free admission to all of our Summits and other fee-based events convened by the Partnership for Southern Equity in 2021
  • PSE swag!

Stay tuned for more information throughout the week. In the meantime, please join us at 10 a.m. for “The Movement Continues”, a special conversation between Nathaniel Smith and Dwayne Patterson live on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram!
